Soap Making Experience in Portmellon, Cornwall
To share the joy and fun of making natural soap, I frequently run small workshops for beginners from my Lanada workshop kitchen. The cold process soaping makes wonderful soap as it is perfectly smooth – however it needs 4 weeks to cure, but it is worth the initial wait as the texture is fabulous.
The workshops experience are kept to only 2 people at a time generally, to allow for hands on experience and time to answer all your questions, plus if you wish they can also be geared towards your interests. Some of the recent workshops have been tailored to learn how to make natural coloured soap with plant material, soap that can be made from supermarket ingredients and marbled soap. In the workshop we go through how to make soap safely step by step, and you get to see how it is done, before you make some wonderful soap yourself.
Included in the workshop are the soaps you make on the day and a link to Lanada Bespoke guide for soap making, with hints and tips for successful soap crafting, 2 ½ hour soap making experience is just £60 and will be at a time that suits you.

It is a perfect opportunity to have a morning or an afternoon learning a new skill and can be a perfect session for family members to bond over.
